What is Cosmoprof North America?
For 15 years and occurring annually, Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) is a leading B2B, or business-to-business, trade show that showcases the latest innovations from the beauty and personal care industry. Just last year alone, Cosmoprof North America drew in 33,000 industry attendees for the three day trade show held in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
But don’t let Sin City’s reputation fool you, Dr. Brite along fellow green beauty brands that are recognized by the Environmental Working Group (EWG) were standing out and showing that clean, nontoxic beauty is not just a trend, but is a true lifestyle. At CPNA, there are three show sections that had their own specialized areas. Dr. Brite was found in the Discover Green area, and in fact this is only the second year that CPNA has had a dedicated area to natural, eco-conscious beauty. And while the Dr. Brite team was busy nonstop throughout the trade show, our co-founders did manage to explore the trade show floor.
Here’s what Dr. Brite co-founder, Dr. Paris Sabo, had to say about her experience in the Discover Green area:
“The atmosphere here is amazing. People love coming to a dedicated space to see all things green. It's also great to see so many people are excited and interested in discovering truly green companies. The descriptive words have been: fresh, innovative, beautiful, exciting, wow, and surprise. [People are] surprised that you can drink our mouth rinse and amazed at our innovation and transparency.”
What’s Next for Green Beauty?
CPNA is known to be the perfect arena where brands reveal their latest product launches and where trends are on full display. When talking about trends for the green beauty space, Dr. Brite co-founder and veteran dentist, Pooneh Ramezani, DDS revealed that:
“Cosmoprof is an established, mainstream cosmetic expo that traditionally has not been interested in green and natural products. Due to consumer awareness and demand, this is the second year that they have an area designated to Green Beauty. I met the person that founded "Discover Green.” She mentioned that this trend is here to stay and they are going to expand this section in the future since there is so much demand for green and organic beauty. Also, she mentioned that companies that are purpose-driven and [whose] founders respond directly to the consumer and have great stories to tell, are the new trend. Consumers are speaking [about] products from those type of brands and love to engage and be a part of their purpose.”
